Rothstein: Vols to Play Virginia in Baha Mar

Tennessee, Virginia, St. John’s and Baylor comprise the four team field in the Baha Mar Bahamas Hoops Championship this November.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS, the Vols and Cavaliers are expected to square off on while the Bears and Red Storm will faceoff in the other game November 21. The winners and losers will battle the next day.

Tony Bennett’s squad is coming off a season full of stellar defense and plain ugly offense, ending with a 67-42 loss to Colorado State in the First Four in Dayton.

As for the other two, Baylor lost 72-64 in the round of 32 to No. 6 seed Clemson. St John’s was 20-13 in Rick Pitino’s first season on the job
