The University of Tennessee Police Department arrested a woman yesterday after she allegedly slashed the tires of more than 40 vehicles on campus.

Skye Scialabba, a 29-year-old UT student, was charged with vandalism, drug possession, and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to police records (WBIR).

The WBIR report states that officers first responded to a vandalism report around 3:25 p.m. where witnesses described a suspect driving a gray Kia SUV.

Police reportedly later found the vehicle with Scialabba wearing a red hat, matching witness descriptions.

She reportedly told officers that she had not taken her bipolar medication and “blacked out.”

Police records showed that a knife and pistol were found, as well as drug paraphernalia and 10 grams of marijuana.

Apparently further charges are pending.
