A first-of-its-kind partnership between Tennessee Athletics and @PilotFlyingJ secures the future of the iconic Neyland Stadium as the crown jewel of America's College Sports City.
Neyland Stadium is the second Tennessee sporting venue to give advertising rights to a corporate sponsor in the past years. Food City bought rights to Thompson-Boling Arena last season.
It’s important to remember that Pilot is not purchasing naming rights to Neyland Stadium. In fact, the prominent slogan in the deal is “Preserving Neyland Stadium’s name and legacy for decades to come.”
However, it will have signage in different areas throughout the stadium. This includes logos on the wall behind the sidelines, the 25-yard line, the ribbon, and portions of the jumbotron.
The addition of corporate sponsor logos on fields was legalized earlier in the summer.
