Lunardi Does The Right Thing Regarding The Vols

By Cody McClure

The Vols are back on the 1-line, according to ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi.

Tennessee’s dominant 64-44 win over Florida on Saturday was enough to propel them.

“Tennessee is the default choice as the fourth No. 1 seed, giving the SEC three teams on the top line of the bracket for the first time,” Lunardi said.

The other No. 1 seeds are Auburn, Duke, and Alabama.

If the Vols can remain a No. 1 seed, it will be historic for the basketball program. It’s something they’ve never done.

And of course, it would make the path to UT’s first ever Final Four a little bit easier to navigate.

The fourth-ranked Vols host No. 15 Missouri on Wednesday.

The game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
