The NFL preseason is nearly halfway through and several former Vols have impressed their organizations.
Among them is running back Jaylen Wright.
Wright rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Miami Dolphins’ 20-13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons to open the preseason.
The performance caught the eyes of many around the Dolphins organization, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Wright’s path to the field in 2024 could be a tricky one based on the number of running backs on the Dolphins roster.
However, Wright can definitely work his way into the rotation in the near future.
Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson aren’t spring chickens anymore, hovering around the magical age of 30.
De’Von Achane is the only other young running back in the bunch, so he and Wright could be a strong combination in the coming years.
