Lagonza “Shaedy” Hayward Jr. Newest Entertaining Vol Name

Tennessee landed a commitment from 2025 consensus four star defensive back Lagonza “Shaedy” Hayward Jr. out of southern Georgia Saturday.
Hayward chose the Vols over SEC rivals Georgia and Florida.
Hayward’s commitment makes him an instant submission for one of the most entertaining names to come through the Tennessee football program.
Most football fans have probably heard of LeSean “Shady” McCoy, and that’s not meant to take away from the originality of Hayward’s nickname. But I can almost guarantee most Vol fans have never met a Lagonza.
So where does Lagonza “Shaedy” Hayward Jr. rank among most entertaining names in Vol football history?
