What Jay Bilas Had To Say About Tennessee In The NCAA Tournament

Jay Bilas has released his March Madness bracket on ESPN.
The long-time ESPN analyst and commentator has the Vols out in the Elite 8 vs. Houston.
Bilas believes Tennessee will cruise relatively easily in the first two rounds against Wofford and, potentially, Utah State.
He then has the Vols facing rival Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
“Kentucky can score, but not against Tennessee on a neutral court,” Bilas said. “When healthy, Kentucky would be very tough to beat, but I like Tennessee here.”
Kentucky, of course, has beaten Tennessee twice this season. But you know what they say… it’s hard to beat a team three times.
Bilas then gives the edge slightly to Houston in his bracket for the Elite 8 matchup.
“This game will be a physical battle that should be officiated by three Navy Seals,” he said. “I am taking Houston.”
Would you sign up for an Elite 8 exit vs. Houston?
I’d say the answer is NO for most of us, as we know how it feels to go to the Elite 8.
The only thing that’s missing for us, of course, is that Final Four feeling.
Seems like Bilas feels like it could go either way, though, despite giving the edge to the Cougars.
Hopefully we get there and then we can roll the dice.
