Week 11 SEC Letter Grades: Alabama through LSU
ALABAMA: A
I was shocked at the way the Tide dominated LSU in its 42-13 win in Death Valley.
For the second year in a row, Jalen Milroe carved up an LSU defense with his legs, running for 185 yard and four scores in the rain.
The defense turned Garrett Nussmeier and the LSU offense over three times, including an interception to open the second half that took any and all momentum away from the Tigers.
The Tide is certainly not out of playoff contention.

The graphic that will live in infamy tells you everything you need to know about Florida’s performance at Texas Saturday.

Florida wasn’t supposed to come into this game firing on all cylinders, but the defense could’ve at least put up a stronger fight.
Not much else to say when you let the game get out of hand immediately.

I would’ve put the Bulldogs in the D tier, but it felt like the last month or so was building toward a November stinker.
Blame the conditions all you want, but that offensive line was torn apart all game long. This play tells you everything you need to know:

The Bulldogs also let the Ole Miss backup quarterback lead a touchdown drive against them to change the outlook of the game. They’re now in dire need of a win against Tennessee next week to reach the playoffs.
LSU: F
For the third time this season, a Honda Pilot driving through some dark woods stumbled upon the buck that is Brian Kelly.
It’s like he has no idea how to stop a team that decides to run the football.
Texas A&M destroyed LSU when it focused on the run in the second half, and the only thing Alabama did in the rain was run all over the Tigers.
Ever since it won the national title in 2019, LSU’s run game has become a shell of the version you knew with Leonard Fournette and others. Not only was the run game weak, but Garrett Nussmeier struggled to keep the ball out of harm’s way.
A 42-13 home loss to a team previously on the fringe of the field of 12 projections destroys the Tigers’ shot at a playoff bid.
