Tennessee landed a commitment from five star 2025 offensive lineman David Sanders Jr. out of Charlotte, NC Saturday.

Sanders chose the Vols over both Nebraska and Ohio State out of the Big 10.

Sanders is the second commitment from the Charlotte area in the 2025 class. Three star defensive lineman Charles House from North Mecklenburg high school was the first.

Sanders attends Providence Day School, the old stomping grounds of Tennessee basketball star and current Charlotte Hornet Grant Williams.

Williams was an active voice in Sanders’ recruitment process, along with fellow 2025 commitments George MacIntyre and Ethan Utley.
