Urban Meyer: ‘Tennessee Is Screwed’

It seems that Urban Meyer is still a villain despite him saying positive things about Tennessee a couple months ago.

It’s no secret that the former Florida football coach has an infatuation with Nico Iamaleava.

He made comments earlier this year about Tennessee being a dark horse national title contender with Nico leading the offense — and even went on to compare him to Aaron Rodgers.

Meyer made a recent appearance on The Triple Option podcast, however, and this time he didn’t have anything nice to say about the Vols.

“Here’s the reality. Tennessee is screwed. They got a problem. ...Everybody’s saying, ‘Nice job Tennessee, making a stand.’ I’ve got a little comment on that,” Meyer said. “Tennessee plays Florida usually every year in October.

“Can you imagine that game’s going the other way and coach Heupel grabs the microphone and stands on the 50-yard line in Neyland Stadium and says, ‘It’s OK, I made a stand way back when.'”

Jerk. No wonder the Jags hated him.
