Updated College Baseball Polls Still Disrespect Tennessee

Tennessee is coming off a weekend sweep vs. Samford.

The Vols won 5-1 on Friday, 7-3 on Saturday, and then capped off the weekend with an 11-1 win in seven innings on Sunday.

Some other teams ahead of Tennessee in last week’s national baseball polls were handed defeats.

Still, the Vols improve only slightly in the polls despite their undefeated record.

Texas A&M and LSU both lost over the weekend but remain ahead of Tennessee in D1 Baseball’s updated top five.

In the new Baseball America poll, Tennessee is No. 2, still behind A&M but a spot above LSU.

Less disrespectful, but disrespectful nonetheless.

Just a stunning lack of respect for the undefeated defending national champions.
