The 2025 Orange & White Game Will Look a Little Different Than In Years Past

In the new era of college football, people are learning not to show their hand.

Josh Heupel is playing things safe this year and for the first time, the Orange and White game will not be televised for all to see.

Last month, before canceling their games against Tennessee in 2026/2027, Matt Rhule (a coward) axed Nebraska’s spring game. Talk about “cancel culture”, Matt Rhule is suspect numero uno. The guy can’t stop cancelling stuff. He got fussy because too many players were using their spring game as a platform to show off their skills and then transfer to programs that are actually successful, so he scrapped it altogether.

We clearly don’t want all our shit being broadcast for everyone to see, that’s clear. I can’t say I blame anyone for being a little more private than before now that pockets are deeper. We all know there are shyster coaches with little to no morals, so I’m fine with letting Coach Josh manage his personnel without filthy rats sniffing around trying to get crumbs.

Here’s a little call to arms for all you loyal Vols fans out there. I’d never condone violence but if you see someone that looks like they have bad intentions or non-Vols employees recording the O&W game, you might be within your rights to physically assault them. Here’s a picture for reference:

At the very least, if someone looks like they’re up to no good, call the cops. It’s your civic duty as a VFL.

We’re still playing the game and Josh Heupel isn’t ready to fully abandon the scrimmage like some others, so that’s good. You can buy tickets and watch it in person, if that’s what you’re into. Go support our Vols and stay vigilant!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM and they’re only allowing 10,000 bodies inside Neyland Stadium, so you may wanna log in early if you want to see the first throws of Nico’s 2025 Heisman campaign in-person.
