The Lady Vols Have Made A Stunning Amount Of NCAA Tournaments

By stunning, I mean ALL OF THEM.

The Lady Vols have now made every single NCAA Tournament that has ever been held on the women’s side.

It is Tennessee’s 43rd consecutive postseason basketball bid.

As you may have already concluded, yes, UT is the only school to ever do that. The only program to appear in every single tournament.

The Lady Vols are the No. 5 seed in the Birmingham 3 Regional where they will take on 12th-seeded South Florida in the first round.

Tennessee’s first round game will take place in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

If UT advances, it will likely play Ohio State, the host school, in its own home arena in the second round.

The Buckeyes are the No. 4 seed and play No. 13 Montana State in the first round.

The Lady Vols are 131-34 all-time in the NCAA Tournament and 34-2 in first round games.

43 straight tournaments. Remarkable.
