Tennessee Slides In AP Poll Due To Voters Not Knowing Ball

We come in at No. 5 this week in the AP Poll.

That’s right. The Vols dropped a spot despite notching two impressive wins last week.

And that’s in addition to Auburn and Duke losing. So hell, you’d think we might even jump a spot or two.

Nope.

We dropped.

All because of Dave Borges of Hearst Connecticut Media, I wrote initially.

Dave had us at No. 12. But it appears he’s bumped us up to No. 7?

So as a result I will no longer be slandering Dave.

Anyway, obviously the voters were impressed with Florida’s win at Auburn.

Tennessee is behind Auburn, Alabama, Florida, and Duke in the Top 5.

It is maybe the best win of the year in college basketball.

Never mind the fact that they got destroyed just over a week ago in Knoxville.

Oh well. Let’s just get that 1-seed.
