Nico Iamaleava Among Heisman Favorites For 2025

Tennessee is in a good spot when it comes to quarterback in 2025.

The Vols’ Nico Iamaleava returns after an up and down 2024 campaign which saw him get better as the year progressed.

According to ESPN BET, Nico has the third-best odds of all college football players to win the Heisman Trophy.

Pretty stout.

Peyton Manning’s nephew, Arch, is the Heisman favorite at +750.

Coming in after him is LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier at +800.

Then you’ve got Nico at +1100 just ahead of Clemson’s Cade Klubnik (+1200) and Penn State’s Drew Allar (+1200).

One could certainly argue that Nico’s talent level is Heisman-like. He hasn’t really shown it on the field yet but there’s a reason his odds are so high.

From time to time, you could see it last year. He’s just inconsistent.

Same with Nussemeier, though. And Arch, as we all know, is a media darling with the Manning name and all.

Could it come down to Nico and Arch?

Either way, it’s safe to say Tennessee is in good shape with the signal-caller position.
