NCAA Taking Steps To Deal With Players Faking Injuries

By Cody McClure

The NCAA has come up with a new strategy when it comes to players faking injuries.

Beginning this season there will be a rule change.

From now on, if medical personnel has to come out to the field to check on an injured player after the ball is spotted by officials, that player’s team will be charged a timeout.

And if the team doesn’t have any timeouts left, they will be issued a delay of game penalty.

Perhaps this will fix one of the most annoying trends in college football of all-time.
