A women’s sex toy company is tradin’ paint with NASCAR this week.
If you know what I mean.
Rubbin’s racin’ they say.
If you know what I mean.
I don’t know what I mean.
Anyway, a company called Womanizer is upset with NASCAR because NASCAR apparently would not allow them to advertise.
“Despite accepting sponsorships from male sexual health brands for decades such as VIAGRA, ExtenZe, and GAINSWave — NASCAR has refused to let Womanizer sponsor a driver,” the company said.
So now the company is protesting NASCAR’s decision to “raise awareness of this double standard.”
They’re doing a billboard takeover outside NASCAR’s headquarters as well as posting a mobile billboard outside Daytona International Speedway this week ahead of the 500.
“Not on the track, still coming first” it says.
Fun.
Now why wouldn’t NASCAR want this? Couldn’t they use the sponsorship money?
It’s not like the car would have a big dildo in the hood, right? I’m sure it would be tasteful.
Nonetheless, that’s NASCAR’s decision.
“The rejection of a women’s sexual wellness brand raises questions about where the sport draws its moral boundaries,” the company added. “Especially when NASCAR is happy to promote alcohol, nicotine and firearms brands.”
