McAfee Congratulates Tennessee Baseball Team During Manning Interview
It’s been almost a month since Tennessee captured its program-first national title in baseball, and the Vols have received praise (and a little criticism) from national media personalities.
The lauding continued today on the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN.
McAfee had Vol icon Peyton Manning on for an interview near the beginning of his show. The two spent three years as teammates with the Indianapolis Colts at the start of McAfee’s career.
McAfee began the interview by congratulating Manning on the Vols’ College World Series win.
Congrats to Tennessee baseball 👏

"I had so much fun out there and it was awesome to see them win it all..
We hope there's many more National Championships to come" ~ Peyton Manning #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/WIFwCkjUxQ
The relationship between the two has given McAfee a new appreciation for Tennessee he didn’t have while playing against the Titans.
From leading “Rocky Top” on ESPN’s College Game Day to backflipping into the Tennessee River while wearing checkerboard overalls in the Vol Navy, McAfee has embraced his time around Vol fans.
