Peyton Manning’s Nephew Officially Takes Over At Texas
By Cody McClure
Quinn Ewers is leaving Texas.
The Longhorns quarterback officially announced his intention to declare for the NFL draft on Wednesday.
Ewers was 21-5 in his career with Texas and had two playoff appearances. Good for him.
The bigger news here is that we’ve got a new Manning in college football, now ready to take the helm at a major program.
It’s Arch’s team now, and with that name on the jersey, the whole country is excited to see what he can do.
Despite limited playing time this season, Arch was a fun piece of the offense for the Longhorns.
He managed to throw nine touchdowns and run for another four while showing an ability to hurt teams with his legs.
Will Arch be as good as his uncles? Hopefully not in head-to-head action against the Vols, at least.
