Lady Vols Pound Texas A&M In SEC Tournament

It was a slow start that culminated into an easy finish.

The Lady Vols destroyed Texas A&M 77-37 in the SEC Women’s Tournament in Greenville, S.C. on Wednesday afternoon.

UT actually trailed 13-11 at the end of the first quarter but cruised after that.

It was 32-19 at halftime in favor of the Lady Vols and 60-28 at the end of the third quarter. Tennessee finished the third quarter on a 17-0 run.

Talaysia Cooper led UT with 19 points.

Tennessee will play Vanderbilt tomorrow afternoon.
