Lady Vols Find Out Opponent For Sweet 16

It will be the Texas Longhorns.
The ‘Horns, a No. 1 seed, advanced in the NCAA Tournament this afternoon with a dominant 65-48 win over 8th-seeded Illinois.
Texas is 33-3 on the season and defeated Tennessee in Austin narrowly back in January, 80-76.
Madison Booker led the way for UT, not the real UT, with 20 points.
Tennessee, a No. 5 seed, advanced to the second weekend yesterday after a dramatic 82-67 win over 4th-seeded Ohio State on their home floor.
The Lady Vols defeated South Florida 101-66 in the first round.
UT, the real UT, is 24-9 on the season. The ladies will be competing in their 37th Sweet 16 all-time when they take the floor against the Longhorns.
In the first tight contest against Texas, Ruby Whitehorn led the way for Tennessee with 21 points. Booker scored 26 for Texas.
Tennessee head coach Kim Caldwell missed the game after giving birth to her first child.
