VFL Joe Milton will no longer be with the New England Patriots.
This season Milton will head south to become a Cowboy.
FOX NFL Insider Jordan Schultz reports the Patriots are trading Milton to Dallas and that a deal had been in the works for “a number of weeks.”
“My understanding is the Patriots recently gave QB Joe Milton III permission to seek a trade and the Cowboys were the team that showed the most interest from the start,” Schultz said.
“…Finally got done early this morning.”
Bazooka Joe on America’s Team. Nice. Hopefully he’ll get some playing time with the NFL’s most-valued organization.
Milton had 241 yards and a touchdown pass last season after being taken in the 2024 NFL Draft by New England.
He had shown a lot of promise in the preseason with his huge arm and improved mechanics. We’ll see if Dallas can get some more out of him.
