James Pearce’s Favorite Game At Tennessee May Surprise You

Tennessee notched some big wins while James Pearce was at Tennessee.

Pearce was interviewed at the NFL scouting combine on Wednesday.

When asked what his favorite moment or game was as a Tennessee player, Pearce gave a surprising answer.

“Probably the South Carolina game,” he said. “Revenge game.”

Pearce was referring to the 2023 win over the Gamecocks. Tennessee triumphed 41-20 and avenged the 2022 loss that kept the Vols out of the College Football Playoff.

He also mentioned the Third Saturday in October as “always fun.”

It will be interesting to see where the VFL edge rusher ends up.

There has been speculation about “character concerns” that may have turned some teams away from Pearce.

With that said, apparently today he met with the San Francisco 49ers.
