Fanrun Fantasy Football Power Rankings: Week 10
By Tucker Harlin
The committee has spoken.
Here are the Week 10 Fanrun Fantasy Football Fight power rankings:
1. TUCKER HARLIN (7-2)
I’m sitting atop the rankings again due to head to head victories over the other two 7-2 teams and about a 65-point cushion in total points.
I didn’t have a great Week 9, and I’m honestly fortunate Tim didn’t break 100.
I’m panicking a little bit at receiver because I don’t know what to expect from Jayden Reed week to week, Michael Pittman Jr isn’t good now, and Jerry Jeudy and Ricky Pearsall are my two bench options with Chris Godwin and Stefon Diggs done for the year.
I play Russell this week, so I’m sure he won’t be talking at all. Noah Fant, Jerry Jeudy, and Jayden Reed are all on bye for me
2. MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES (7-2)
The new kids on the block at Fanrun have impressed in their first season in the Fanrun Fantasy Football Fight.
MIssues scored about 67 of its 122.72 from its running backs in a mere survival against Overtime Bill, but they have more important issues to focus on. The particular problem is the fact every single receiver not named Ray Ray McCloud on the roster is hurt in some way.
The Issues play Houston this week. Geno Smith and the Packers defense are key players on bye.
3. SAM BEARD (7-2)
Sam got cooked last week by his old show mate Jon Reed. 124.88 is nothing to be upset by, but Jon broke into the 140s.
I’d say of every 7-2 team in the league, Sam’s is the most stable right now. Mike Evans is his only injured player in an incredibly deep receiver group while Alvin Kamara and Tony Pollard are a strong running back tandem.
Sam takes on Overtime Bill in Week 10. Nick Chubb and Daniel Carlson are the only players on bye.
4. JACE BROWN (6-3)
A miraculous Monday night victory for Jace over Russell has him sitting alone in fourth at 6-3 right now.
The Bills defense and Will Reichard were Jace’s only players to not break 10 this past week. Reichard has moved to IR, but this is Jace’s only injury at the moment.
Jace faces Cody this week to defend his fourth place spot. Zach Charbonnet, Tyler Lockett, Jordan Love, and Jakobi Meyers are all on bye.
5. CODY MCCLURE (5-4)
Cody took a loss similar to what Sam took last week, a 19-point loss to Houston.
Outside of the Lions defense, nobody stayed below 10. But outside of Jalen Hurts, nobody scored over 20 for the Varsity Athletes in Week 9.
Cody’s team is fully healthy as it prepares to face Jace this week. Jerome Ford is his only player on bye.
6. RUSSELL SMITH (5-4)
Russell took a painful Monday night loss to Jace in Week 9. Puka Nacua getting ejected and Jalen McMillan no showing is likely the difference between a win and loss last week.
McMillan, Jordan Mason, and D.K. Metcalf are all hurt in some capacity.
Russell goes from playing one of his interns to a former one in Young Phillip Fulmer. Metcalf is the only player on bye this week.
7. HOUSTON KRESS (4-5)
Houston’s win over Cody puts him all alone at 4-5 and seventh in the power rankings.
Jonnu Smith and Greg Zuerlein were the Vol Rumor Mill’s only players in his lineup to score under 10 points last week. Zuerlein, Isaiah Likely, and Gabe Davis were all hurt in some capacity last week.
Houston plays More Important Issues this week. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is his only player of importance on bye.
8. WILLIAM PATTESON (3-6)
Overtime Bill lost a close battle to More Important Issues in Week 9. Rhamondre Stevenson had his only true boom week while the kicker and defense were letdowns of sorts.
CeeDee Lamb, Drake London, and Christian Kirk are hurt right now, but thankfully William has depth at receiver with Darnell Mooney, Jordan Addison, and Quentin Johnston.
Bill has a tough challenge ahead against Sam in Week 10. Kenneth Walker, Alex Mattison, and David Njoku are on bye.
9. TIM HILL (3-6)
Tim dropped a stinker against Young Phillip Fulmer in Week 9. Receiver, tight end, and kicker were all letting Peaches down in his 93.94-point performance.
Amari Cooper and Deebo Samuel are the only injury concerns for The Thrill right now.
Tim plays a struggling Bob Baskerville this week. He has nobody on bye at the moment.
10. JON REED (3-6)
Jon got a big upset victory last week over Sam. The Juggalos were full of boom and bust weeks in Week 9, and Jon was fortunate the booms outweighed the busts.
Outside of having to release Brandon Aiyuk, Jon’s only injury trouble right now is Tyjae Spears.
Jon takes on the resurgent Ryan Brown in Week 10. Christian Watson is Jon’s only player on bye.
11. RYAN BROWN (2-7)
Ryan stomped on Bob in Week 9 with a large number of 155.82. Outside of Jaleel McLaughlin and kicker, Ryan had booms from everybody.
Allen Lazard and Christian McCaffrey are both injured, but McCaffrey is at least expected to return soon.
Ryan takes on Jon for an opportunity to improve to 3-7 on the year. Brock Bowers and Cedric Tillman’s only players of note on bye.
12. BOB BASKERVILLE (2-7)
Bob has officially fallen into last place in the power rankings after taking a beating from Ryan, who previously held the last place spot for several weeks.
Injuries aren’t a huge problem for Bob right now, but A.J. Brown and Brian Robinson have both missed decent amounts of time over the course of the season.
Bob faces Tim this week. Romeo Doubs, Josh Jacobs, and Tucker Kraft will all be on bye this week.
