Fanrun Fantasy Football Fight Power Rankings: Week 7

By Tucker Harlin

The committee has spoken.

Here are your official Fanrun Fantasy Football Fight power rankings entering Week 7.

1. SAM BEARD (6-0)

Sam boasts the only 6-0 team in the Fanrun fantasy league.

His victory in Week 6 against Jace was a close one, but he was able to pull it off with Justin Jefferson on bye and with a lack of strong production from his receivers. Unfortunately for Sam, he’s taken a small hit to his deep receiving core with the meniscus injury to Rashid Shaheed.

Sam has his toughest test yet of yours truly for a battle between the two best teams in the league through six weeks. Sam’s only players of note on bye this week are Caleb Williams and D.J. Moore, both of which wouldn’t start this week anyway.

2. TUCKER HARLIN (5-1)

My team is coming off a week in which it scored 180.5, the highest in any single week across the league. My loss to Jon in Week 5 is what’s keeping me from that #1 spot as I have about 100 more points for than Sam.

The 10 points Kyle Pitts scored for me last week was the lowest anyone on my team scored, and that’s without Aaron Jones in the lineup.

As I alluded to earlier, I face Sam this week for the right for the top spot in the league. Brandon Aubrey is on bye for me this week, so I’m having to use Chase McLaughlin at kicker.

3. MORE IMPORTANT ISSUES (4-2)

MIssues blew out Russell last week to take third place in the official power rankings.

There is a serious concern at wide receiver for Issues at the moment. Both Nico Collins and Chris Olave are now injured, so the more important issue is whether Keon Coleman or Jauan Jennings is more reliable at receiver.

The Issues play Jon this week, who now has two wins in a row.

4. RUSSELL SMITH (4-2)

As it was alluded to at #3, Issues dealt a harsh blow to Russell last week.

James Cook did Russell no favors by missing Monday night. Outside of Zay Flowers, Trey McBride, and the kicker and defense, the Keg of Glory struggled in Week 6.

Russell goes at it with the Varsity Athletes this week in a battle for fourth place.

5. CODY MCCLURE (4-2)

The Varsity Athletes’ performance against Tim last week was dreadful.

David Montgomery was Cody’s best player by far and he only scored 21 points. On top of that, Rachaad White, Malik Nabers, and Travis Etienne are all injured.

Cody will battle Russell this week to try and take fourth place. Jake Ferguson is his only noteworthy player on bye.

6. JACE BROWN (3-3)

Jace fell in a hard fought battle to Sam in Week 6 by approximately .38 points

Travis Kelce getting the week off proved costly a Dallas Goedert left the matchup scoreless with an injury. D’Andre Swift had Jace’s only true “boom” performance last week.

Jace will play Ryan this week, who is winless at the moment. Swift is Jace’s only notable player on bye.

7. TIM HILL (3-3)

Despite having a significant portion of his team on bye in Week 6, Tim still managed to blow out Cody.

Jared Goff and Deebo Samuel were the only two players to score over 20 for Peaches last week. Not all of them would have played, but Patrick Mahomes, Xavier Worthy, Kyren Williams, Blake Corum, and Colby Parkinson all had bye weeks.

The Thrill plays the Vol Rumor Mill this week. Unlike last week, Tim’s entire team should be active unless Jonathan Taylor is still hurt.

8. JON REED (2-4)

Jon looked dead in the water before he played Young Phillip Fulmer. Now he’s gone over 120 in consecutive weeks.

The guy that doesn’t want to draft running backs actually has two who look serviceable now, and Cooper Kupp should return soon for the Juggalos. The problem now is how Garrett Wilson’s production will look with Davante Adams in the mix in New York.

Jon will have his work cut out this week with third-ranked MIssues on schedule. Fortunately, it looks like his full cast of characters should be available in Week 7.

9. BOB BASKERVILLE (2-4)

Bob took a tough loss to Jon last week, barely breaking 80 points in the defeat.

Naturally, the week A.J. Brown returns is the same week Marvin Harrison Jr. leaves the game with an injury. Brian Robinson is the other player who is injured for Bob right now, one that was starting to come into his own.

Bob plays William this week. Bill is starting to improve but has encountered both of the highest scorers in the league the last two weeks.

10. HOUSTON KRESS (2-4)

Houston picked up a much needed win over Ryan last week.

Joe Mixon returned and scored 27 last week, production Houston hasn’t seen at the running back position since both Mixon and Isiah Pacheco went down. Brock Purdy also scored a solid 24 in Week 6.

The Vol Rumor Mill plays the up and down Tim this week. Dak Prescott is the only player on bye for the Rumor Mill.

11. WILLIAM PATTESON (1-5)

Overtime Bill is beginning to improve, but a mixture of high scores from opponents and his 1-5 start is keeping him at #11 this week.

The health of William’s running backs this season has been an issue. Just two weeks after getting Kenneth Walker healthy, Bill lost Rhamondre Stevenson last week. Bill is without first round pick CeeDee Lamb due to his bye this week, so Jordan Addison will get the start at receiver.

William plays Bob in a matchup of two teams desperate for a win.

12. RYAN BROWN (0-6)

The shortcomings of Ryan’s team can all be attributed to the absence of Christian McCaffrey.

If he’s looking for positives, Davante Adams’ hamstring should magically heal now that he’s playing for the Jets instead of the Raiders. De’Von Achane should also return for Ryan this week.

Ryan plays Jace this week, whose capricious nature can cause trouble for opponents.
