ESPN Host’s Plea To Pitiful Lakers, LeBron: ‘As A Father, Stop This’
By Cody McClure
The Los Angeles Lakers have become an absolute joke since winning the Mickey Mouse title back in 2020.
If you haven’t heard yet, the Lakers got blown out by the Philadelphia 76ers last night and LeBron James’ son played 15 minutes in the game.
He went 0-for-5 from the field. Didn’t score a single point. He’s 1-for-16 on the season.
One of the worst players in the league.
He plays for one reason and one reason only. LeBron James is his father.
It’s sad, really, what the Lakers have become. They are no longer a serious franchise.
This is the LA Lakers we’re talking about, not the South Bay Lakers.
Kobe. Magic. Shaq. Jerry West. Is this really where they’re at as an organization? Giving LeBron’s son meaningful minutes while trying to actually win NBA games?
It’s pathetic. And it should be below a championship organization.
But again, clearly the Lakers are no longer that.
“I am pleading with LeBron James as a father, stop this,” Stephen A. Smith said today on ESPN’s First Take. “We all know that Bronny James is in the NBA because of his dad.”
"How are you doing him favors? … We know that he's not ready yet."
Hopefully LeBron and the Lakers heed this advice, because watching that last night was sad.
Send this kid back to the G League where he belongs.
And let Dalton Knecht cook!
