Donald Trump Banning Trans Athletes From Women’s Sports

President Donald Trump is banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports.

Trump will reportedly sign an executive order today designed to prevent people who were assigned male at birth from participating in women’s or girls’ sporting events.

“Keep men out of women’s sports” was a big campaign pledge from Trump.

It resonated quite well with his base.

ESPN says that more than half of voters surveyed in an AP VoteCast poll said support for transgender rights in government and society has gone too far.

This is a big development.
