The Vols have a big-time matchup on Saturday against No. 6 Alabama.

While the College Gameday crew opted to check out the Florida-Texas A&M game instead, for some reason, this will be the biggest game of the day.

It’s an opportunity for Tennessee to potentially lock in a No. 1 seed.

It won’t be official by any means with a week of the regular season remaining, but the winner of Tennessee-Bama will gain a tremendous notch in the belt toward the final 1-seed.

Today it was reported that 85-year-old Dick Vitale will be on the call, along with Karl Ravech and Jimmy Dykes.

Vitale made his return to the booth earlier in February for the Duke-Clemson game after a long battle with cancer.

It will be nice to see Dickie V back on the call after a long hiatus.
