Could Nico Be Joining Bill Belichick At North Carolina?

How would we feel if Nico Iamaleava ended up joining Bill Belichick at North Carolina?

Would we care? Is he “dead” to us? Would we tune in to watch?

The former Tennessee quarterback is No. 1 in 247Sports’ transfer portal player rankings.

And the latest crystal ball projection — from 247Sports FSU insider Brendan Sonnone — has him going to Chapel Hill to join UNC.

It would be a headline-capturing move if Belichick were to land the former UT QB heading into his first season as the Tar Heels head coach.

Could Nico be the next Tom Brady? Probably not.

But it would certainly be interesting to see what Belichick and the staff could do with him.

The rumors and reports in the coming days are going to be exhilarating as we figure out where Nico’s going — and more importantly — what Tennessee is going to do to replace him.
