Brayden Burries has announced his decision to play college basketball at Arizona.

Burries, a 5-star combo guard, committed to the Wildcats over Tennessee, Alabama, Oregon, and USC.

It wasn’t ever really anticipated that Burries would choose the Vols, but UT was at least in the running.

He’s a 6-foot-4 prospect out of California, ranking No. 11 nationally according to 247Sports.

Arizona got a good one. But the way things go with the transfer portal these days, it’s good to have pre-existing relationships.

Who knows, maybe Tennessee could be in the mix for him again someday.
