Watch This Iowa State Fan Put On A Tennessee Jersey Mid-Game

You’ve heard of “bandwagon fans,” but have you heard of “switching jerseys in the student section in the middle of the game fans?”

As the second half began in the Tennessee-Iowa State matchup, this student decided he had seen enough from his Cyclones, who were already down double-digits. He stood up and proceeded to put on a Tennessee jersey, which he apparently brought from home.

There were two very different reactions (NSFW):

Tennessee had a rough start in Ames, missing 14 of its first 16 shots, but James Daniel III quickly stabilized the shaky Vols off the bench. He scored 14 first-half points and led Tennessee into the halftime break with a 31-19 lead.

This Tennessee/Cyclones fan seemed to have made the right decision, as Tennessee continued to build on its double-digit lead early in the second half in route to a 68-45 victory.

My favorite part about this is that the fan showed no subtlety. He stood up, put on the jersey and even turned around to the student section as if to say, “yeah, we aren’t winning this game.”
