Basketball fan and also well-known rapper, Drake, cheated certain death on Tuesday night during the Toronto Raptors’ home game against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Drake, who is from Toronto, is a long-time Raptors fan. It was no surprise to see him in attendance for the monumental Game 1 between the Raptors and Cavs — which Cleveland won 113-112 in overtime.
It was surprising, however, to see Drake shouting at 6-foot-10, 270-pound Kendrick Perkins near the end of the first half. Drake appeared to be quite angry with the Cavs’ backup center.
Thank God Jose Calderon was there to hold Drake back. If he had let him loose, this could have gotten ugly. Imagine the fear in 6-foot-10, 270-pound Kendrick Perkins’ eyes as Scrappy-Doo comes charging at him.
And on Drake’s home turf! That Raptors crowd certainly would have had his back.

You’ve gotta feel bad for 6-foot-10, 270-pound Kendrick Perkins. The guy was probably terrified.
As ESPN NBA reporter Dave McMenamin captured after the game, Drake and 6-foot-10, 270-pound Kendrick Perkins exchanged some more words:

What were those words, exactly? Some context:
This went all the way into the tunnel, with Drake calling Perkins a “f—— p—-” and calling for him to come out. “I’m here in real life,” he said. He was mad. https://t.co/3DJ2HBvrWN

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (Woj) said he received a text message from 6-foot-10, 270-pound Kendrick Perkins after the game:
In a text message to ESPN, Kendrick Perkins says: “What happened was I was talking to my old teammate Serge (Ibaka) walking into halftime telling him ‘We about to win this game,’ and Drake butted in talking shit to me. So I said something back to him.” https://t.co/sJ3Ntx6zVy

Bold, Drake. Bold.
