Following an official visit to Knoxville and an offer from Tennessee, Georgia wide receiver Jordan Young got his first offer from the Vols — then flew up the rankings of recruiting boards.
UPDATE: ***Now he’s officially committed to Tennessee.***
Here are his comments as Tennessee was the first Power 5 program to offer the Second-Team All-State performer out of Georgia 6A football. The Vols hard work early seems to have paid off.

Since that offer, Young’s received an offer from Coastal Carolina with South Carolina showing interest, but after last week’s visit, Young went from unranked on 247Sports’ recruiting database to a four-star receiver listed as the No. 190 player in the entire country.
Take a look at Young’s highlights below — you’ll wonder how some college recruiters will still have jobs after not picking up on him earlier in the process. He’s big, extremely fast and has a heck of a highlight reel.
The Conyers native would be a big boost to a receiving corps that failed to produce across the board under Butch Jones year after year.
