Vols DE Alexis Johnson Pleads Not Guilty To Assault Charges

According to multiple reports, Tennessee football player Alexis Johnson pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment in Knox County General Sessions Court Tuesday morning. Johnson was arrested February 17th for allegedly choking a woman who was his former girlfriend, not allowing her to leave his bedroom, and threatening her with physical violence.

Last week, the woman bringing charges against Johnson was added as a plaintiff to the ongoing sexual lawsuit against the University of Tennessee.
