On Wednesday, Tennessee athletic director John Currie tweeted this photo and announced the hiring of new Vol baseball coach Tony Vitello.

While some UT fans were debating his experience and resume, others were focused on a bit more… physical approach.

Is he single

From our very own Lexi Pierce: “I have never been to a UT baseball game, but with a coach that attractive, I’ll be at every home game.”
To answer the single question, Vitello mentioned that he was “married to the game” during Friday’s introductory press conference. So yes, but apparently no.
Should UT invest in a Bachelor-type athletics program to set Vitello up? It certainly looks like he’ll have plenty of candidates. It’d gain some attention (good and bad) and no one can resist a good love story. Plus, he’s Italian. What’s more romantically enticing than an attractive, young Italian man?
Lord have Merci.
