The Vols got back in the win column with a *yuge* victory over Southern Miss thanks to the play of this week’s DWdesigns Player of the Game, John Kelly.

J.K. bounced back from his suspension with 79 rushing yards (seemingly all after contact) and two key touchdowns in the third quarter after the Vols forced two turnovers. John Kelly could play his way into the Player of the Game conversation every week. Even carrying 20 times and averaging under four yards per carry behind a beaten down offensive line didn’t stop him from earning the award this week.
Somehow it feels like we still need more John Kelly.
Honorable mention shout out to Trevor Daniel, whose golden leg can do no wrong. This game could’ve gone a lot differently had he nailed a few incredible punts. He’s Trevor on the Spot.
It’s basically winter time, so you’re gonna want to stock up on some sleeves. Especially if you’re planning on seeing John Kelly and Trevor Daniel in person when LSU and Vandy come to town.
