Friday 8/24:
-4-star linebacker Kane Patterson out of Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee announced his decommitment from Ohio State Friday evening. Patterson’s decommitment marks the first in what could possibly be multiple decommits in the wake of the Urban Meyer/Zach Smith scandal. 247Sports has Alabama, Clemson, and Tennessee as his top three schools right now. The Vols could definitely use another linebacker in the class of 2019. The Vols only have one linebacker commit in the class of 2019 as of right now in four-star Lakia Henry.
Saturday 8/25:
-College football week zero kicked off on Saturday night and we got to see two former Vols in action, wide receiver Preston Williams and defensive coordinator John Jancek who are both now at Colorado State. Williams finished the game with nine catches for 188 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-34 loss to Hawaii. Jancek’s unit was obviously less than stellar, they gave up 418 passing yards and 199 yards on the ground.
Check out this crazy catch and run from former Vol, Preston Williams.
Introducing, Preston Williams.
