The Top 10 Matchups Of The Newly-Released 2020 NFL Schedule

The 2020 NFL schedule was officially released Monday night. With this out of the way, the planning for the NFL’s 101st season can now begin. Looking forward to all 256 scheduled games on the slate for this fall, I have identified 10 of the best prospective matchups for the impending NFL season:

10. Indianapolis at Tennessee (Week 10)

This Thursday Night Football matchup will likely be the first step in securing the AFC South crown for both teams. The two teams will meet two weeks later in Indianapolis.

9. Tampa Bay at New Orleans (Week 1)

Our first taste of Drew Brees vs. Tom Brady will come early in the NFL schedule as this week 1 matchup will be on FOX at 4:25 p.m.

8. Green Bay at San Francisco (Week 9)

Last year’s NFC Title Game will have a rematch this year on Monday Night Football. Hopefully for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, this bout will be closer than 37-20.

7. Kansas City at Tampa Bay (Week 12)

The new look Bucs behind their elder statesmen of Brady and Rob Gronkowski will look to upset the young gun champs in Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

6. Tennessee at Baltimore (Week 11)

The rematch of last year’s AFC Divisional Round will not be one to miss. Lamar Jackson and company will most definitely have something extra in the tank for Derrick Henry and the Titans.

5. San Francisco at New Orleans (Week 10)

The 2019 edition of this matchup was arguably the best game of the season. The 49ers won the game 48-46. Expect the same type of heavyweight battle this fall.

4. Dallas at Baltimore (Week 13)

The Cowboys hype train is full steam ahead for this season, while the Ravens come into 2020 with something to prove. We’ll see which side prevails in this week 13 Thursday Night Football matchup.

3. Kansas City at New Orleans (Week 15)

In what could be a Super Bowl LV preview, the Saints will try to prove that they have what it takes to knock off the defending champs from Kansas City.

2. San Francisco at Dallas (Week 15)

This late-season bout will likely be a preview of the NFC Championship Game. Look for this game to decide the top seed in the NFC. Clearly Week 15 with have the best slate of games as it is headlined by this matchup and the game between KC and the Saints.

1. Kansas City at Baltimore (Week 3)

The 2019 version of this game was an entertaining one as the Chiefs came out with a 33-28 victory. However, the Ravens will be out to make a plethora of statements on the gridiron this year. Don’t be surprised if the defending champs get upset in this early season rendezvous on Monday Night Football.
