After much speculation with the SEC announcing Week 1 games, it seems that majority of media and fans are a little lost for words.

The one word that seems to be floating around on Twitter is “lackluster” when it comes to the games. If you missed the announcement here is the list of Week 1 games:

When looking at those games, none of them really scream at you all that much. Honestly, Tennessee and South Carolina is probably one of the most intriguing match-ups. Actually, Kentucky going down to Auburn is really a match-up people should probably pay attention to.

With many questions surrounding second-year QB Bo Nix coming in this season and Kentucky returning their best team in years will lead into a good game. It’s no surprise the SEC protected it’s top teams in Week 1 with the top four teams playing four brand new coaches.

I know it sounds like a lot complaining, but you would think we would have a more high powered opening week after waiting so long for SEC football.
