Tennessee held its “Fan Day” on Sunday afternoon.
It was all smiles as team photos were taken Sunday morning inside Neyland Stadium, while at the same time, Tennessee fans started lining up outside for an opportunity to get a wristband for autographs with coaches and players.
The weather had other ideas though, as storms forced the Tennessee staff to move the practice indoors, closed to the public. The university did try and salvage “Fan Day” by setting up autograph lines at the indoor facility later in the day.
Players and coaches also met with the media to discuss the upcoming season.
The opportunity for certain players to speak was a welcomed sign for those who want their story to be heard. We are starting to see who the team leaders are with this Tennessee football team, and these comments are definitely proof.
