Butch Jones was fired on Sunday after Tennessee’s 50-17 beatdown at the hands of Missouri, and fans and players alike said their goodbyes.
Jones’ firing leaves the program in a bit of a whirlwind — the Vols lost a handful of recruits yesterday and still have to regroup to play two more regular season games, even though the players on the current roster seemingly have a high amount of respect and a good relationship with Jones.

With that being said it would not have been possible without Coach Jones. He gave me the opportunity of a lifetime. For that I️ am very thankful.
