The 2021 NCAA Tournament Bracket has officially been revealed, and the Tennessee basketball team has landed as the No. 5 seed in the Midwest region.
The Vols (18-8) will play the Pac-12 Champions, the No. 12 seed Oregon State Beavers (17-12).
Additionally, Tennessee’s opening matchup will tip-off on Friday, Mar. 19.
After finishing sixth place in the Pac-12 regular season, the Beavers would end up running the table in their conference tournament. Oregon State rattled off three straight wins, including the final one against No. 23 Colorado, to secure the crown.
According to Will Warren on Twitter, Tennessee has the third-best odds to make it to the final four from the group. The Vols only trail No. 1 seed Illinois and No. 2 seed Houston in that category.

Midwest Region Odds:
-Illinois the favorite here, obviously.
-3 seed West VA only 44% to make Sweet 16.
-5 seed Tennessee just drew (likely) the worst 12 seed in the field and will be favored over 4 seed OK State (or 13 seed Liberty obvi).
-Loyola Chicago 22.2% to make S16. pic.twitter.com/IRWRtJsXNw— Will Warren (@statsbywill) March 14, 2021
