Taylor Lewan Sees New Titans Uniforms, Tries So Hard Not To Look Disappointed

If you’re a Tennessee Titans fan, then you are looking forward to April 4, 2018.

On that Wednesday evening, the Titans will be releasing their new uniforms at Broadway and First Avenue in a ceremony accompanied by a Florida-Georgia Line concert. The release of these new uniforms are to celebrate the Titans’ 20th anniversary in Nashville and will be the first major change since the team arrived in 1999.

As a Titans fan, I’m cautiously optimistic. I’ve personally always liked the Titans uniforms, but am excited to see what new changes they will create to freshen things up.

Titans OT Taylor Lewan got a first look at the new uniforms in a video posted today by the Titans on their social media platforms.

Lewan was the easy choice to put in this video. The offensive lineman has quickly become a fan favorite in Nashville and isn’t afraid to let his emotions loose while on the field.

Now, I could be reading all of this wrong and Lewan may actually love the new-look uniforms, but I was concerned after watching this video.

First, Lewan looked very nervous opening the box, which is completely understandable. But I noticed he never smiled after seeing the uniforms. He says, “oh, I like that a lot” in almost an emotionless tone.

He then follows that up with, “it looks new and fresh, it’s the facelift that this team needed,” and then Lewan looks up the camera.

I mean, look at that face! He looks like one of his friends just told a drunk story to his strict, nonalcoholic parents.

I hope that I’m looking too much into this, and I still am very much excited for what the Titans will be donning this upcoming season.

But Taylor isn’t giving me a ton of hope.
