‘We Have To Get Unhappy Real Quick’ Says Rick Barnes

It goes without saying this is another huge week for Tennessee Basketball.

It is March. Now is the time to win.

Tennessee knows it can’t get too comfortable this week after Saturday’s buzzer-beating win over Alabama.

The Vols have a big one at Ole Miss tomorrow night, where the Rebels will surely be eager to upset a top-five team.

Ole Miss is currently a 7-seed in the NCAA Tournament, according to Joe Lunardi of ESPN.

Tomorrow is essentially a “must-win” for Tennessee to remain a No. 1 seed.

And head coach Rick Barnes knows it won’t be easy.

"I told them today you like to play against a happy team… and we are happy,” Barnes said during Vol Calls on Monday. “We have to get unhappy real quick because the fact is, this week is a big week to close out the regular season…”

Hopefully the boys are focused and still hungry tomorrow night.

We should trust that they will be with the senior leadership on this team. No let-downs.
