Tennessee picked up a big one in the transfer portal Tuesday.

A program changer, some are saying.

A former 4-star recruit, wide receiver Amari Jefferson was wanted by Georgia and spent his first year of college at Alabama.

Turns out the Crimson Tide couldn’t hang on to him.

Now he’s a Vol.

Jefferson is a dynamic athlete — formerly committed to the Vols to play baseball.

He’ll surely see the field early on for the Vols, as Tennessee is somewhat thin at receiver with the recent portal departures.
