Vols Wednesday Availability Report: Mississippi State

By Tucker Harlin

The SEC released availability reports for its football matchups on November 9 on Wednesday evening.

Here is the availability report for Mississippi State at Tennessee:

Let’s start with the Tennessee side.

There are two new adds to the report this week. Jourdan Thomas, Keenan Pili, and Edwin Spillman have all appeared on the report for a minimum of three weeks.

The first new name is running back DeSean Bishop, who left the Kentucky game in the first half with an injury. The other new name on the report is defensive lineman Tyre West, who appears as questionable.

Let’s shift to Mississippi State.

Of the two players listed as “probable” for Mississippi State, Mario Craver is the most important. Craver is the second most productive receiver for the Bulldogs with 16 catches for 355 yards and three touchdowns.

Most of the important players that are out have had that designation for awhile. For example, Creed Whittemore declared he was hitting the transfer portal and Blake Shapen’s season ended against Florida in late September.

None the players who are out on the defensive end have been heavy producers this year.
