Vols Trending for 2025 Defensive Line Prospect

By Tucker Harlin

Recruiting news has cooled down with the weather since the end of the summer, but that doesn’t mean the news for this 2025 class has come to a halt.

On3’s Steve Wiltfong has put out a prediction for Tennessee to land four star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell out of Durham, NC.

The two programs hottest on the trail for Campbell right now are Tennessee and Clemson, two programs that have gone to war in the past for recruits in North Carolina. Campbell decommitted from Clemson last month.

I’ve written extensively on how important the Tar Heel State is to Tennessee football recruiting. The two highest rated commitments in Tennessee’s next two cycles are from North Carolina.

Additionally, Campbell presents another opportunity for Rodney Garner to bring in a coveted defensive line prospect. From NFL hall of famer Richard Seymour to James Pearce, Garner has brought in top tier talent at every stop in his coaching career.

Campbell will be in Knoxville this weekend to watch the Vols take on Alabama in Neyland Stadium.
