Vols to Wear Traditional Uniforms Against Florida

By Tucker Harlin

Tennessee announced Thursday morning it would wear its traditional orange jerseys and white pants against Florida Saturday.

This is the second time the Vols have sported the traditional look against Florida in Josh Heupel’s tenure in a Checker Neyland game, the first of which was a 38-33 victory.

The 38-10 home loss to Georgia last season was the only loss for the Vols when wearing an orange jersey and white pants in the Heupel era.

Some other important wins were the 2022 Alabama and Missouri games, the 2022 Orange Bowl victory over Clemson, the victory over Virginia in the 2023 opener at Nissan Stadium, and the Citrus Bowl victory over Iowa at the end of last season.
