Tennessee Basketball will play in Las Vegas for the next three seasons.

The Vols are one of 18 teams invited thus far to compete in the Players Era Festival.

This is a week-long tournament in Vegas that includes NIL opportunities for players.

A source with direct knowledge of the situation reportedly told Knox News about the event on the condition of anonymity.

How big of a deal is it?

The other teams in the field include Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Creighton, Gonzaga, Houston, Kansas, Iowa State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Rutgers, San Diego State, St. Joe’s, St. John’s, Syracuse, and Texas A&M.

A real who’s who of basketball teams.

The field is set to expand this fall after the 2024 debut at MGM Grand Garden Arena. The tournament supposedly was providing $9 million in NIL to players.
