Vol Baseball Player Projected To Be No. 1 MLB Draft Pick

Tennessee ace pitcher Liam Doyle is quite impressive to the Major League Baseball scouts.

So impressive that Keith Law of The Athletic says he is the No. 1 overall prospect for the 2025 MLB Draft.

Law recently released his list of the top 30 prospects for the Draft, which takes place in July.

Doyle transferred to Tennessee from Ole Miss and so far is unbeaten as a starter with a 0.61 ERA. He’s allowed just six hits.

Not to mention 34 strikeouts in three starts. He’s faced 49 batters and 34 HAVE STRUCK OUT.

Of Doyle’s 34 strikeouts, 27 have reportedly come via the fastball.

The junior left-hander has everything you could ever want from a pitcher.
